dark days comfort foods

Post thanksgiving, a lull, burnout from cooking and company and family drama, and just the two of us for a weeknight dinner. Pure comfort food.

Backyard eggs with some frozen farmers market peppers and fresh onions, and some Wisconsin cheddar. Pecatonica sausage links (that were going to be breakfast for company this weekend, but we just had too much food, lucky for us!).

Oh and not shown, some leftover thanksgiving sweet potatoes (also from our winter market) and a little homemade bread.
